Words Aloud needs your help!

We’re putting a little something together for the final Words Aloud, which takes place next Tuesday, 25 November. But here’s the thing… we need your help to make it truly marvellous.
Here’s what we’d like you to do. Don’t worry, it’s quite quick and easy, and you might even enjoy it!

And that’s it! Your response can be anything you like. It can be poetic, funny, serious, poignant or profound. We really don’t mind. Ideally, it will be no longer than a couple of sentences. But if you can say what you want to say in a single word, go for it!

Words Aloud is, with its little challenge, a stark reminder of why I never won those ‘50 words or less’ competitions I struggled with as a child, a total lack of inspiration, seemingly ongoing.
