The Joys of Sex by Sara Sivan-Whithouse

The Joys of Sex by Sara Sivan-Whithouse

The joys of sex, the greatest I suppose could be found in relationships.

And though pure sex can be joyous it certainly makes it hard to write about.

I mean the joys of sex alone are mainly physical; stress relief, tension, orgasm. Those kinds of things.

Sex is a way of being intimate with someone fully. Something that I believe you should only do if you know that person inside out before making it literal. So really I must write about relation ships.

With that in mind I chose to ask the people around me about what they thought were the joys of sex.

The list was nine A5 pages long (and if you look in my note pad the first things you’ll find will be the words banana condoms and yazoo, yazoo tastes like balls apparently, that’ll give you something to think about the next time you have a milkshake,) so I’ve cut it down as funnily enough there is a lot of repetition (and fish).

Thanks for sending us this Sara. I imagine it’ll send our ‘hit count’ through the roof! Just ask Jude!
