We are excited to announce a new home for Words Aloud - in the beautifully-refurbished Lescar pub, Sharrow Vale Road, Sheffield on the last Tuesday of the month.The next Words Aloud is Tuesday 26th February.

There WILL NOT be one on the first Wednesday of the month.

The upcoming dates are:

• Tuesday 26th February
• Tuesday 25th March
• Tuesday 29th April
• Tuesday 27th May

Excitin’ times
The Lescar will provide us with a bigger room and viewing will be easier, plus they’ve hosted the Last laugh Comedy nights there for the last fifteen years. Recently refurbished, it’s got a great, warm, cosy vibe akin to the values of Words Aloud, and we rek you’re going to love it.

Great food (though you don’t have to pre-book or eat to get a table - pure boozers welcome!) and nice heaters in the garden too for smokers. Not that that’s what swung it;-)

We’d like to give a big shout out to Runaway Girl for being such a wonderful home for the last year. Great times, great performances and great memories.

Onwards and upwards! Here’s to another cracking year.
